Foundation
HDLF registered in Kathmandu with a mission to strengthen dialogue across mountain communities.
Since 2010, HDLF has worked alongside communities across Nepal — building dialogue, leadership, and lasting programs for mountain communities who need it most.
Who We Are
Himalaya Dialogue and Leadership Foundation (HDLF) is rooted in the belief that meaningful conversation and strong local leadership are the foundation of sustainable development across Nepal and the wider Himalayan region.
We work with village leaders, civil society, and international partners on literacy, livelihoods, peacebuilding, and environmental stewardship — always shaped by community voice and built for long-term impact.
“Lasting progress begins when communities lead the conversation about their own future.”
